Febreze #Noseblind Review and Giveaway

This review and giveaway was made possible by Double Duty Divas and Febreze. I was compensated for my participation in this campaign, but all opinions are 100% mine.

There is nothing more uncomfortable than having someone drop by at the last moment and having a dirty home. Well, maybe knowing the guests were coming over and having a smelly home.

I recently invited two friends over for a Febreze Noseblind movie night.. With the help of some buttery popcorn we set off to take the challenge.

First off, you cannot mistake the smell of microwave popcorn. It is so overwhelming, that it almost makes your nose burn. After watching a great movie with even greater friends, we set off on the next step.

What do we smell now? Well considering there was a popcorn bowl in front of one of us, we all smelled different things. I smelled my old stinky dog in my lap, one of my friends smelled the old popcorn sitting next to her, the best answer of all, "I smell sweaty bodies." That is what you call a "good friend."

When we were all done with discussing our olfactory system, (that is just a fancy way to say our sense of smell) we  tested out the Febreze Air Effects Meadow and Rain.

Now first off, you should know that I am a little bit of a scent-aholic. I love the smell of freshly washed clothes and a clean house. I don't want to smell cleaners, I want things to smell fresh. Febreze managed to not only hide the scent of stale buttered popcorn, it was gone. Even with the bowl still in front of us. Now don't get me wrong, if I put the bowl under my nose and sniffed, I could smell the popcorn, but the room no longer smelled like a recently abandoned movie theater.

Healing Tree Bamboo Charcoal Soap Review

Do you ever feel like you have crawled out of the shower just as dirty as you were when you climbed in?   Healing Tree Bamboo Charcoal, found on Amazon, is a unique new way to cleanse your skin all the way into your pores.
After just one use, my skin felt clean. There was no sticky or slimy soap residue on my skin. My skin was shiny and almost squeaky.  I know that sounds a bit strange, but my skin was not dry, just super clean feeling. The soap is unscented but still has a light soap scent. No perfumes are added so it is gentle on all skin.

"Healing Tree Bamboo Charcoal Soap is high in absorbency so it draws dirt from deep inside the pores. Unlike normal soaps that only clean the surface of your skin, this soap can free up a lot of dirt that clogs deep beneath your skin especially if you have acne, eczema, psoriasis, and dry/cracked skin. Bamboo charcoal undergoes a firing process of 1,800 F to create high absorbency properties making it 4x more absorbent than wood charcoal. As a result, it cleanses your skin by removing years of accumulated dead skin cells."

Bamboo Charcoal Soap Benefits:
Remove Dead Skin Cells
Unclogs Pores
Smoother Skin
Natural Ingredients
Hypoallergenic
Detoxifying
Frangrance Free

Silicone Cupcake Baking Molds Review #californiakitchenware

When it comes to baking in my home there is always something missing. Whether that missing item is flour or cupcake liners, I promise I will have to make a run to the store to pick something up. I recently had the opportunity to test out Silicone cupcake molds from California Kitchen.

Not only did the silicone cupcake molds save me from having to run to the store, but they put a BIG smile on my kids faces.

The cupcake liners are easy to use and just as easy to clean! The bright colors are appealing to all ages and brighten up a table for guests.

My kids thought that the liners were fun to run around the house with, but they were both willing to give them up so I could start the next batch of cupcakes. I did find that if you are making cupcakes from a box, it would be better to buy two sets. 12 liners is not quite enough for a boxed cake mix. They are well worth the cost and would make a great gift for any baker you may know.
