Make Your Dishes Sparkle Cascade Platinum Giveaway #DDDivas #CascadeShiningReviews #sponsored

This review was made possible by Double Duty Divas and Cascade. I was provided the featured product free of charge to facilitate my review, but all opinions are 100% mine.
Recently I was asked to host a get together with friends and family to test and show off the effectiveness of Cascade Platinum. There is no better excuse to have friends and family over other than to dirty some dishes with good food.

I have always believed if the dishes fit in the dishwasher, they will get clean. Unfortunately, experience has taught me different. I just need to know not to block the water jets with big bowls or cups and everything seems to come out okay.

As my friends arrived, I managed to keep all of my dirty little secrets and dishes, to myself. While everyone was enjoying their brownies, I tossed the dirty dishes in the dishwasher and washed the dishes. I removed all large pieces of food, but did not pre-rinse.

Spaghetti and brownies be gone! Can you see me waving my magic wand?

Yes, that is the same pan! Look how clean it came. Not even a hint of a brown crumb! My guests were all amazed that it could look so clean with scrubbing it first. That is more than an "okay clean." My dish sparkles!

Have an opinion to share? Head to the Cascade website to leave a short review of Cascade Platinum (http://www.cascadeclean.com/us/cascade/review) including #CascadeShiningReviews. One reviewer will win a Kitchen Aid Dishwasher.

Now one of my readers can win a Cascade Platinum Prize Pack which includes (seen in picture above):
  • Cascade Platinum
  • Cascade rinse aid
  • Spatula
  • Whisk
  • Cheese grater
  • Oven mitts
You can enter by commenting below. Tell me what foods you would like to get off your dishes without pre-rinsing.
You can earn extra entries by doing the following. Make sure to leave a comment that you did or I cannot give you credit. Contest will end September 21st 2014 at midnight PST.

Febreze #Noseblind Review and Giveaway

This review and giveaway was made possible by Double Duty Divas and Febreze. I was compensated for my participation in this campaign, but all opinions are 100% mine.

There is nothing more uncomfortable than having someone drop by at the last moment and having a dirty home. Well, maybe knowing the guests were coming over and having a smelly home.

I recently invited two friends over for a Febreze Noseblind movie night.. With the help of some buttery popcorn we set off to take the challenge.

First off, you cannot mistake the smell of microwave popcorn. It is so overwhelming, that it almost makes your nose burn. After watching a great movie with even greater friends, we set off on the next step.

What do we smell now? Well considering there was a popcorn bowl in front of one of us, we all smelled different things. I smelled my old stinky dog in my lap, one of my friends smelled the old popcorn sitting next to her, the best answer of all, "I smell sweaty bodies." That is what you call a "good friend."

When we were all done with discussing our olfactory system, (that is just a fancy way to say our sense of smell) we  tested out the Febreze Air Effects Meadow and Rain.

Now first off, you should know that I am a little bit of a scent-aholic. I love the smell of freshly washed clothes and a clean house. I don't want to smell cleaners, I want things to smell fresh. Febreze managed to not only hide the scent of stale buttered popcorn, it was gone. Even with the bowl still in front of us. Now don't get me wrong, if I put the bowl under my nose and sniffed, I could smell the popcorn, but the room no longer smelled like a recently abandoned movie theater.

You can go to the Febreze Noseblind site to get more information and the science behind noseblindness.

CatchyClips Review #catchyclips

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

I cannot tell you how many times I have lost my keys in the bottom of my purse. Oh, and lets not forget the bottom of the diaper bag. The new product that I just tried has helped keep my keys right where I can find them and relieved a little bit of my stress in the process. I am usually the one that is skeptical of all new things. Promises are made but it seems most products do not live op to their promises. CatchyClips is very different.

From CatchyClips:
CatchyClips ... They're designed to clip to the inside of your handbag for easy access. You decide how to use your magnetic CatchyClip... perhaps to secure your keys to one spot in your purse; as a card organizer for your store cards, gift cards, library card and maybe even credit cards; or to fasten any important item to the inside of your purse, backpack or briefcase so you can easily find it.

Key Clip - Attach your keys to the Gem Top, and clip the other half of the magnet inside your purse with the attached "alligator" clip. The strong magnet holds your key chain in place right where you can find it. Just gently pull to remove it from the clip. When you're done just reach back in and it clicks right back on the magnet! Always accessible right at your fingertips! No more searching!!!

Card Clip - Organize your store reward cards, and gift cards (and even your credit cards if you want to!) so there's no more digging in your pocketbook, or forgetting to use your gift cards! Just add your mini-cards, or even full size cards, to the ring and you'll always be able to find the one you need. After punching a hole in each full size card (single hole punch sold separately on our site if you need one), your cards can be grouped, using the separators that are included, so they are categorized by store card/gift card/credit card to make them easy to find when you're at the checkout. You don't even have to remove them from the ring to swipe them! And, again, the Gem Top on the ring will magnetically attach inside your purse where you've clipped the magnet.

Everything that they say I was able to replicate. I had to use my door to show the magnet since my current purse did not have a magnetic enclosure, but it still held well. In fact, the magnet was strong enough that it kept pulling the metal ring on to it every time I adjusted it for photos.

One lucky reader will have the chance to win one. Enter using the widget below. Giveaway ends 6/22/2014

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Give A Gift Anytime With California Delicious

FTC Disclosure: In exchange for this review and giveaway, I was given the product for free. However, my opinions are my own and 100% honest.

This is the perfect time of year to look around on the internet for the perfect gift. We all have at least one family member that lives too far away to drop off a gift, so why not get them something that they will enjoy?

When I picked out my gift set from California Delicious, I went straight for the chocolate! Sorry guys, I am only 1/4 human and 3/4 choco-holic!

The gift set arrived quickly and came right out of the shipping box looking just like this...

A beautiful tower of bright red shiny boxes (that I knew were filled with chocolate) and a shimmery gold ribbon and bow. I don't know anyone that would not think that the packaging alone was not beautiful.

Inside each of the five boxes was a different type of Godiva chocolate confection. But you have to keep it a secret from my husband, I told him it was just empty boxes and hid all of the chocolate in my end table. I managed to hide, a small box of Godiva dark chocolate covered pretzels, a bag of Godiva milk chocolate covered caramels,  a bag of Godiva dark chocolate covered caramels, and several others. I have been in chocolate heaven for over a week.

Don't worry, if you or your gift recipient is not a choco-holic, there are many other gift baskets to chose from. Everything from fresh fruits to nuts. Everyone of their baskets are elegant and beautifully arranged to ensure satisfaction from the gift giver and the recipient.

California Delicious has graciously offered me the opportunity to give away a $50 gift certificate to one of my lucky readers. Please note that the giveaway will be open to US residents age 18 and over and will only be up for a limited time to ensure that the winner can be notified before Christmas.

Eliminating Bulk with Isabelt

Over the years I have been called many names from string bean, to twig, and I am sure you can think of others. I am tall, thin, and after having my children, have lost any resemblance of my hips that were once very curvy. No, I am not bragging about being tall and thin. I am telling you that finding clothes that fit, especially pants that stay up, is a complete nightmare!

When I was given the opportunity to try isABelt and write a review, I jumped at the opportunity. I hate having my pants fall down and I also hate to have my belt leave a big lump under my shirt. There is nothing more unattractive.

I am sure that you are asking what an isABelt is. Well, to keep it simple, it is a thin stretchy clear (or black) palstic belt, about 1/2 inch wide, that is designed to fit anyone with a waist from 0 to 50 inches. There is even a wider, one inch, version and even options with designs available.

There is a small round magnetic clasp that keeps the belt closed. To adjust the belt is super simple. It is just like any other item you may need to adjust the length of. Pull a little slack out of the belt at the adjustment and pull the slack through the other side.

The plastic is thin and flexible. That is what keeps it well hidden under those thin T-shirts. This also means lightweight and flexible. The isABelt will pack in a purse or suitcase very easily and not take up any room at all.

I would not tell you that the belt is "slimming." However, I will tell you that it gets rid of that huge buckle mark that shows through your shirt. It eliminates the bulk of a traditional belt, which in turn makes you feel less bulky. There is no harm in eliminating a bump around your waist right?

Enter below for your chance to win a isABelt so you can try one before you buy one.

A small smile, a first tooth, first pair of shoes, the first haircut, the first step, and even the first fall.
