Why? Oh because you can! There was nothing better than coming home from a long day at work and finding a box on my front porch. It got better and better as I opened the box and examined the contents. Two bottles of California white wine. Each bottle safely tucked in a special shipping box made just for them.
With each bottle was a nice story about the winery that produced the wine and a little information about the wine itself. Now being a Silicon Valley brat myself, I was more than excited to see a Calaveras County Wine. For those of you that have never heard of or been to Calaveras County. It is the home of the Frog Jump. Oh the memories this one bottle of wine managed to pull out of the cobwebs in my head. But don't fret, I managed to pop the top on the bottle of Semillon and enjoy the memories and the wine.
If you are ever looking for a great gift for someone special in your life or you love to drink wine and are never really sure what to buy, Uncorked Ventures is a great way to go.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Chance to win $250 From Invino Inclub
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Invino for Markerly. All opinions are 100% mine.
After a long week of working two jobs and taking care of my kids, I look forward to a little quiet time to relax and unwind. I also look forward to some social interaction with my friends. Even though my everyday life does not allow much time for myself, I manage to squeeze some time in once in a while.
Enjoying a nice glass of wine is one way that I have found allows me to unwind a little from my bust schedule and socialize with my friends. What I have found is that I am not the best at picking out high quality wines that my friends and I all enjoy. With so many blends and years, I often find myself at a loss in the wine aisle.
Here is where the inclub comes in. Invino inclub is a wine club with a twist. You can set up a budget and a delivery schedule. The best part, you can change your preferences at anytime! There is a quick easy quiz to help guide you through some of the wines that you may enjoy.
When you sign up to choose your delivery and budget options, you can also select the varieties that you would like to include in your future shipments. You can choose by color, variety, and region of the world. If you are unsure, like I am, you can just select them all. Then just sit back and wait for your shipment to arrive. Don't worry, you are covered under a Palate guarantee. If for any reason the quality or taste of the wine is not up to par with your expectations, just contact Invino and they will issue a credit to your account for the cost of the bottle.

Wine Wear Review
If you are anything like me, you love to take a bottle of wine to your friends when you are invited over for dinner. But, have you ever thought about dressing up that bottle of wine?
Wine Wear has just taken that bottle of wine up a notch. Wine Wear is a small greeting card that is designed to fit right of the top of a bottle of wine. They look like a T-Shirt and can be personalized by writing your own message on the back of the card.
My personal sample was a lavender colored card that said "Thanks a Bunch." I immediately thought that handing a bottle of wine to a friend at dinner with a "thank you" card would be some much fun. Then I started to run other ideas through my head. Why not give a bottle of wine to my mother to thank her for her companionship on a recent trip that we took? Why not a bottle of wine to a sibling for paying for house cleaning services while I attended classes?
I could go on forever with the ideas that popped into my head. I finally settled on a fine bottle of sparkling cider, not wine, and filled out the card for a mom to be. I needed to make sure that she knew she was appreciated for all of her patience during my transitions.
I really love the idea of dressing up a gift with a touch of a personal note...and a T-shirt.
