I have a small house (under 1,200 square feet), but I do a lot of walking and running with a 4 year old. In addition to chasing the 4 year old on hardwood floors, I work full time and I am a full time nursing student. I am on my feet ALL day long. When I get home, I am tired and my legs and feet ache. I am always willing to try something new to relieve the strain on my poor feet.
Two days ago, I received a pair of Nature's Sleep slippers. I was so excited when I open the package, I did not quite know what to do first, try them on, or show them off. Okay, so I took a photo, then put them on my feet. I had to have a picture to show you, right? Nature's Sleep makes two styles of slippers; an open toe and a closed toe. I ordered the closed toe version since my feet are always cold.
I know that I should never expect miracles from any product. I am not naive. But I was pretty close to heaven when I put the Nature's Sleep slippers on my feet. They are very soft and extremely cushiony (is that a word?). I think the memory foam is the key to the dream like state I was in. When I first looked at the slippers closely I thought that the soles were covered in fabric. When I read the label and saw that the sole was thermoplastic rubber, I had to drag my fingernail along it to be sure. I swear it looks just like fabric. I floated a little higher into heaven with that discovery. I live in a rural area, in a wet climate, and I have dogs. Do I even need to tell you that I have mud too? The rubber soles will make the slippers so much easier to wipe the bottoms if I find the muddy little foot prints in the front room with my slippers on. Overall, these are a definite win for me. My feet are thanking me everyday.
