Several years back, my family had a house fire. It was the most devastating thing that I could have ever immagined. Everything we owned was reduced to a pile of ash. During our time of need, friends, family, and strangers all came together to help my family out. So when I was driving through an area that I had never been in recently and noticed a house across the street was a Habitat for Humanity project, I stopped. Coming from a small rural town this really took me by surprise. I stopped to talk to a few of the people that we volunteering at the site. I was already lost, couldn't hurt to stop. After a long talk with some of the volunteers there, I made the decision to volunteer a few hours of my time to help build a home for those in need. Over the years, I have helped put on roofs, paint, and repair dry rot for my local church members, why not help someone that does not have a home? Strangers did it for me, it is my turn to help out someone in need.
You do not have to volunteer to help the needy. To simplify things, you can just go to Pfister’s Facebook page and click "like." For each "like" that Pfister gets, they will donate $1 worth of product will be donated to Rebuilding Together.
