Time to Show Your Disney Side
Anyone that has kids knows all about Disney. In fact, sometimes I bet you feel like you know every character from every Disney movie made. It is okay, we are all kids at heart!
Because we all have a little kid hidden inside and secretly we all love the trips with our kids to Disney theme parks, I hosted a Disney @home party. What better way to let the fun (and little kid in us) pour out?
I had so much fun planning and setting up for my Disney Side party. How many ways can you create Disney fun? I made cupcakes and a round cake with white frosting and let the kids decorate them. Remember that creativity and imagination are all part of the Disney fun. I hid Disney characters all over the house and sent the parents and kids on a scavenger hunt with a hidden treasure all set up for the winner of the scavenger hunt.

MIRA Glass Digital Kitchen Scale

The MIRA Touch Professional Digital Kitchen Scale that I received is made with a nice white (There are other color options to choose from that may coordinate with your kitchen better) tempered glass that is 4 times stronger than normal glass. Having the scale made out of glass means that when you spill, the clean up is easy. Just wipe it away!
The extra large back lit LCD display makes it easy to see the weight of whatever item you are weighing. You can quikly change the measurements from grams, ounces, or pounds. The Mira digital scale will measure foods from .1 oz. to 11 lbs. (1 gram to 5 kgs) and comew with a 2 year warranty.
When I received my scale, I was not quite sure how I would use it. Then I realized how quick and easy it was to use. I began using it to weigh individual portions of beef and chicken to ensure that my entire family did not over eat high fat foods. In fact, I found it very easy to measure food right after I purchased it from the grocery store. That made it simple to grab just what I needed from the freezer. By doing this, I found that I wasted a lot less food.

Pine Bros Softish Throat Drops

The weather is changing and cold and flu season has arrived. Are you ready for that next cold to invade your house? I had the opportunity to try a product that has been around for over 140 years called Pine Bros. Softish throat drops.
I am the first to admit that I am a big baby when it comes to sore throats.The worst part about being a big baby? I had the taste of medicine and I do not like the numb feeling that some of the medicines cause.
I was hesitant to try the Pine Bros. Softish throat drops, but once I opened the package of wild cherry flavored drops, I thought they smelled like a candy and not medicine. The first taste was surprisingly sweet and not medicinal at all. The consistency is a little different than the typical cough drop. It is more similar to a JuJube candy (I am sure I just dated myself). It is not soft like a gummy bear and not hard like a cough drop. It is somewhere in between.
One of the features of the Pine Bros. Softish throat drops is that they are not full of ingredients that you cannot pronounce. In fact the product is all natural. Even the red coloring in the wild cherry flavor is from Elderberries not a dye. In my household, this is a big plus.
My entire household is very happy with the flavors of both the Natural Honey and the Wild Cherry. Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops are a great addition to any home for those not so pleasant sore throats that we all gt once in a while.
