100 Glow Stick Bracelets Review.
Disclaimer: I received the product described below at no charge, however all opinions are my own and I only recommend products that I feel are suitable for my family and readers.
Who does not love glow sticks? Pull one out, crunch the thin glass layer, and you can have loads of fun.
With this package of 100 glowstick bracelets the fun lasts for days! Each container has five different colors to choose from and each color is super bright!
My kids and I ran around the house for hours shutting off the lights and making colorful trails of light. By the way, I think I had more fun than the kids.
These are also a must for outdoor use. Are you going out on a camping trip soon? Maybe you are going to an outdoor bbq now that the weather is starting to change. Grab your glowsticks! They can help you locate your kids in the dark to ensure that they do not get lost.
Get creative, find a way to use them other than the traditional bracelet or necklace! I promise you will find yourself having just as much fun as your kids.

Silicone Cupcake Baking Molds Review #californiakitchenware

When it comes to baking in my home there is always something missing. Whether that missing item is flour or cupcake liners, I promise I will have to make a run to the store to pick something up. I recently had the opportunity to test out Silicone cupcake molds from California Kitchen.
Not only did the silicone cupcake molds save me from having to run to the store, but they put a BIG smile on my kids faces.
The cupcake liners are easy to use and just as easy to clean! The bright colors are appealing to all ages and brighten up a table for guests.
My kids thought that the liners were fun to run around the house with, but they were both willing to give them up so I could start the next batch of cupcakes. I did find that if you are making cupcakes from a box, it would be better to buy two sets. 12 liners is not quite enough for a boxed cake mix. They are well worth the cost and would make a great gift for any baker you may know.

Alphabet Jumbled for Your iPad
Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
▶ KNOW YOUR ABC’s - Recognize the 26 letters
▶ FLASH CARDS – Learn the different letters in the alphabet with electronic flash cards
▶ EASY JUMBLE - Start un-jumbling 5 letters jumbles
▶ JUMBLE CHALLENGE - Can you un-jumble all the letters under a minute?
This is a fun new app that will keep your child learning while having fun. I had a difficult time getting my child to use the app unless I was sitting right next to him while he was “playing.” That is not anything new in my home though.

In my home, learning letters is a difficult task. With a learning disabled
child, I am always looking for a new, creative, and of course fun way to learn.
When given the opportunity to try Alphabet Jumbled for my iPad I was ready to
jump on the opportunity.

My thoughts:
This is a fun new app that will keep your child learning while having fun. I had a difficult time getting my child to use the app unless I was sitting right next to him while he was “playing.” That is not anything new in my home though.
It is
always worth my time to know that I am helping my child learn just by sitting
next to them playing a fun and engaging app.
Know that
there are distractions in the game. The fish that jump around will cause your
child to focus on them. I actually found that this was helpful in teaching my
child to ignore distractions. After several attempts and redirection, he was
able to continue playing without focusing on the fish.

Time to Show Your Disney Side
Anyone that has kids knows all about Disney. In fact, sometimes I bet you feel like you know every character from every Disney movie made. It is okay, we are all kids at heart!
Because we all have a little kid hidden inside and secretly we all love the trips with our kids to Disney theme parks, I hosted a Disney @home party. What better way to let the fun (and little kid in us) pour out?
I had so much fun planning and setting up for my Disney Side party. How many ways can you create Disney fun? I made cupcakes and a round cake with white frosting and let the kids decorate them. Remember that creativity and imagination are all part of the Disney fun. I hid Disney characters all over the house and sent the parents and kids on a scavenger hunt with a hidden treasure all set up for the winner of the scavenger hunt.
After a day of fun, food, and drinks, everyone that attended is now ready to plan a group trip to Disneyland.

SodaStream Source Review
I recently received a Soadstream Source from SodaStream USA and was like a kid in a candy store. I did not know where to start. Which flavor soda should I make first? It was a hard decision, but I figured that since I had young children at my feet I would try one of their natural products.
Setting up the machine was very easy. I had to insert the CO2 canister and the actual unit was ready to use. I made sure that I washed the reusable bottle that came with the unit with soap and water to remove and unknown residues from packaging, and then I was ready to go.
Using the SodaSteam was even easier than setting it up! (Okay, okay, so there was no set up time. Don’t I get credit for washing the bottle?) Attaching the reusable bottle was a little awkward the first time just because I had never done it before, but it got much easier as I made more drinks.
When making your drinks, you need to realize that you are only adding carbonation to water. You do not add the flavoring until the water has carbonation. This will keep the unit from getting clogged and malfunctioning.
When adding the syrup to the water, there is a standard measurement, but you can adjust the level of flavor to your specific taste. Be very careful adding the flavor to the carbonated water. If you pour it in fast you will have a big mess to clean up (trust me, I tried).
I have tried several of the flavors so far, but I am on the hunt for new ones too. I really enjoyed the natural's flavors and would love to see more and more naturals varieties become available in the future. There are unique flavors like black currant pear and apple mango. The naturals also contain real sugar.
The
standard flavors and diet varieties all contain some artificial sweetener in
them. Since I could adjust the syrup to my taste, they were not too sweet and
very refreshing.
Some of the new flavors I found at a local store are
definitely fun to try. Flavors like Margarita, Piña Colada,
and Cosmopolitan.
Watch out! Here comes Grammy with new ways to add flair to her favorite drinks!
I found that I did need to purchase a couple of spare carbonating bottles. One is just not enough (for me). I purchased a twin pack at a local store and filled them with plain water. To make it easier, I stored them in the refrigerator until I was ready to make a drink. By doing this, the beverages were already cold when I made them and they did not require ice right away.

One last little bit of information that i am sure will be helpful. I found that the carbonation would last about 7 to 10 days depending on if a syrup was added and how many times the bottle was opened. There is an expiration date on the carbonation bottles so they will have to be replaced but not for quite some time.
Overall the SodaStream is a great product. They are fun to have around and very
easy to use. I think that this will become the big hit at birthday
parties and family gatherings in the future.
This is a great gift idea for anyone that you know. Think of all the possibilities.

Get Ready For Santa with TastyKake
FTC Disclosure: In exchange for this review, I was given
the product for free. However, my opinions are my own and 100% honest.
For nearly 100 years, iconic Philadelphia snack cake company, Tastykake
has baked the freshest cakes, pies, cookies and doughnuts to satisfy
their devoted followers' craving for indulgent little treats, creating a
celebrated line of classic snack cakes nationwide.
About Tastykake
Are you ready for Santa to come to your house? Do you have your milk and cookies ready too? Why not mix it up a little bit this year and sneak a TastyKake on the plate for Santa Claus? Not only will Santa love the Holiday treats, but your entire family will.
There are currently 3 Holiday
varieties that are available for you to choose from. I recently was just sent a
box of TastyKake goodies to try and I may fit into the Santa suit myself this
year. I could not stop eating them!
- Candy Cane Cakes: Tastykake's Candy Cane Kakes provide sweet lovers with a fun and delicious combination of layered white cake with red peppermint creme' and a white peppermint flavored coating with a decorative red drizzle. These festive cakes not only taste great, they are a perfect way to show-off traditional candy cane colors during the holidays.
If you like peppermint, this is the
treat for you. With a light peppermint frosting tucked inside a soft cake then
dipped in frosting, who could ask for anything more? These were definitely the
favorite in my house. I found that what I need is an industrial sized box to satisfy
my peppermint sweet tooth this Holiday Season.
- Coconut Frosty Cakes
- Featuring a dark chocolate covered coconut candy kake, Tastykake's Coconut Frosty Kakes are the perfect treat for chocolate lovers.
Here is another weakness. (Gosh
TastyKake, how did you manage to find two of my weaknesses?) Coconut Frosty
Cakes are a little bit of delight in every bite. Packed full of sweet coconut
and dipped in chocolate. Yum!! I know that not everyone is a coconut fan, but
if you are, these are amazing! I think that Santa and his reindeer would all
love to find one of these waiting for them next to a tall glass of milk.
- Santa Snacks
- Tastykake Santa Snacks include tasty creme-filled vanilla cake with holiday icing and festive sprinkles.
Santa Snacks are the everyday TastyKake cupkakes with an
added twist of red frosting and Holiday sprinkles. If you have never tried a
Tastykake, you should know that the Kake in every bite is moist and a dense.
There is no skimping but fluffing the cake with air. There is no hint of a
sponge in there either (Admit it, you know what I am taking about). They are pure heaven with a little delight in every
bite you take.
Next time you are at the store shopping for your upcoming Holiday dinner, don't forget Santa Claus and Ms Claus too. They will appreciate the extra thought in your plate of goodies this year.

App Developers Can Help Teach Children Important Skills
Disclosure: The post below is a sponsored post. Grammy2Kaiden may receive monetary compensation for the content in this post.
Kids__Academy
Kid's Academy, one of
the most successful developers of apps for kids has released what might be
their biggest app yet. 123 Tracing is an excellent educational app designed for
younger students. This cute game helps kids trace numbers and get in the habit
of writing and forming these letters that they will use the rest of their
lives.
The free version of app
is live and available to download via iTunes, Google Play and Amazon at:
Kid's Academy is all about
helping children learn verbal, writing and math skills in an easy and fun
manner. Apps such as 123 Tracing and Bingo ABC have been top-50 educational
apps in the App Store, and Kid’s Academy has also brought the well-known
stories and nursery rhymes The Three Little Pigs and Five Little Monkeys to
life with interactive apps. The simple interfaces of the apps allow children to
take the reins and play on their own, but the sing-a-longs and other activities
are perfect for parent or teacher engagement, as well. Research has shown that
singing along with nursery rhymes has cognitive and physical benefits for
children. Not only are children learning new words and the context in which to
use them, but strengthening tongue and mouth muscles at an early age will help
with pronunciation skills.
About Kid’s Academy
Company
Kids Academy is an
early childhood education start-up specialized in development apps for major
mobile markets: App Store, Google Play and Amazon. The rapidly growing company
is bringing value through education for children aged 2 to 6 teaching kids
numbers, upper- and lower- case letters, word-letter associations, phonics, and
spelling, and brings them endless fun and excitement through play
activities. Founded in the end of 2011 with the first application
released in July 2012, Kids Academy has six nice apps and recently reached 2
million downloads. The apps developed by Kids Academy received dozens of
positive reviews and were top rated by Children’s Technology and Parent

Get Creative with WEXY bags

I received a package of WEXY snack bags for a review and got to work. WEXY bags are eco-friendly, BPA free, and biodegradable! What more could a parent ask for? Oh, by the way, the also have adorable characters on them that my kids love.
Knowing that I am packing a lunch that is not only fun for my children, but safer for my children is very appealing. I really do not like the thought of buying chemical free foods, just to package them in a plastic bag that is made with BPA or other carcinogens.
WEXY bags are not only cute and fun. They are durable. I managed to stuff a sandwich (crust-less of course) the bag without any seams bursting or the bag falling apart. That is not usually a challenge for most, but I purchase the wide loaf breads that usually are too big to stuff in a bag.
Sometimes I feel like plastic bags have a mind of their own and I have arguments with the seals to get them to close. The seal on the WEXY bags is easy to open and close. No need to yell at these bags to get them to close.
After sending my 5 year old to school with WEXY bags for a few days, he has learned a very valuable lesson. He now knows that it is okay to be different. He also knows that just like him, other kids want to fit in too. Wexy bags are a product that will be stocked on my kitchen shelves. They are too fun not to have around for my kids lunches.

Milk Unleashed #Milk
When you think of the Holidays, I am pretty sure that milk is not the first thing that comes to mind. However, with all of the baking that most households do or even that our families do, there could not be a better time to add an extra dose of milk to out children.
To make it even better, these great little containers filled with nutritious milk can be found at your local grocery store and are made by several different companies including Horizon, Hershey’s, Organic Valley, Cow Wow, Borden and LALA. If you want to add a healthier treat to your child's diet this Holiday season you can learn more about milk in Tetra Pak cartons at www.milkunleashed.com, on Twitter @milkunleashed, Facebook and Pinterest.
There is now also a shelf stable milk that comes in Tetra Pak cartons and doesn’t need to be refrigerated until opened. These shelf stable milk carton are still the same Grade A milk
that you are used to, it just does not require refrigeration until the package is opened. These small and portable cartons of milk are perfect for your child's school lunches or your Holiday road trips.
With the health issues that are found in my home, we use chocolate milk to hide a much needed medication. The chocolate milk hides the taste of the medication and ensures that the medication is taken and that no life threatening issues arise. We have also just recently switched to organic milk to avoid some of the unnecessary hormones and antibiotics that can interfere with the medication that is being taken. There are several varieties of milk in shelf stable packages available that are organic. Or maybe today your children have been incredibly well behaved and they deserve a small treat. You can buy flavored varieties that include; vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and even cereal flavored Fruity Trudy. Could you ask for anything else is a quick nutritious and sometimes indulgent drink for your family.
These small containers are the perfect portion size for children and have been used in my home for lunches and even for a drink with an afternoon snack. And if you sneak a peak inside my diaper bag you will find at least one box of organic chocolate milk inside just in case I need to give medication to my son away from home.

Infant/Toddler costume Review
Disclaimer: I received the product described below free of charge to facilitate this review. All opinions are by own.
With Halloween right around the corner, there could not be a better time to test out costumes, so when I was given an opportunity to review an infant/ toddler costume, I jumped at the chance.
Costume Discounters has an extensive choice of infant and toddler costumes.
I chose to review the Pinky Winky Infant Costume since I have a couple of little monsters running around my home.Once the costume arrived, I immediately opened it and started to play dress up with my 5 month old. That is what everyone does right?
Once I pulled the costume out of the package, I was immediately impressed with the quality. Some of the costumes that I have seen lately in retail stores have been just simple T-shirts and thin pants or tights. The Pinky Winky Infant costume is not either of those. It is made of a nice fluffy material and was decorated as I expected. The only thing I noticed, is that the costume needed a good shaking before actually putting it on my child to get off the loose fuzz, but that was quick and easy to resolve.
The feet of the costume are designed to look like little monster feet but the actual pads on the bottom are made with gripping material to keep your young child from slipping. I think my favorite feature of this costume is the velcro openings. The back has a smaller velcro piece that opens up to allow for easy application over a child's head. There is also velco pieces along both legs to allow you to easily put the costume on a child or quickly change a diaper without removing the entire costume.

Did you know monsters had dimples? |
The Pinky Winky infants costume is just as cute on my child as it is shown on the website directly. I could not have asked for or picked a better costume to fit my little girl's personality.

Personalized Stationary Review

Over the years writing has become a lost art. When our children start school, we have to put in extra hours teaching them how to write their name and spell simple words like cat. As our children get older, we tend to give them laptop computers and iPads and writing personal notes becomes lost.
There is now a personalized kids stationary that will help keep your children writing.
I loved the designs that were available on the site and had a hard time choosing one. I chose to review the monkey thank you cards for my 5 year old. First, he needs to learn to say thank you when he receives a gift and a hand written note is a great way to teach him that. Second, he loves to act like a little monkey when he runs around the house. These were perfect for him.
I loved that the cards came in a small bag to keep them neat and organized. It is a nice way to receive a personalized item. Much nicer than the typical plastic wrapping that you normally see on a set of cards or stationary. These come packaged the way I believe a personalized gift should be wrapped. It looks less commercial and more personable.
The card stock on the thank you cards is very nice. It is high quality and is ideal for a thank you card. Sometimes the cards that I find in the store are thin and somewhat flimsy. The Amy Adele cards are not flimsy.
Amy Adele stationary is the perfect way to have stationary items made for someone with a name that is unusual or that person that needs a creative way to send a personal note.

Alphabet Flash Cards Review

As a parent of a child that has special needs, I am always looking for fun new ways to educate him. Not only do I struggle with his limited memory retention, but I also struggle with absence episodes, hyperactivity, and the inability for him to concentrate. The need for repetition in my household is high, but I really need help being creative and making learning fun too.
Using the Alphabet Flash Cards has been fun and easy to use. With a parent card and both capital and lowercase letters, I could teach in small segments to restrict the amount of new information. I know that sounds wrong, but it I provide too much information he get very frustrated and shuts down.
All of the flash cards have a nice big letter and a word starting with that letter on one side and a picture of the item on the other side. I started with the pictures since his level is around a 3 year old level. We have been practicing saying the words of the items in the pictures and then showing the letter on the other side. He is able to say most of the words correctly and we are working on recognising and saying the letters now.
Flash cards have always been a great learning tool and the Alphabet Flash Cards that I received are no different. I am very happy with the simplicity of the cards and the quality of the individual cards.

The Bingo Song HD - Intearctive Sing Along Music App Review

I am not sure if I could find someone out there that does not know the Bingo Song. But with the use of electronics, we can now make the Bingo song into a fun interactive game for our kids. The Bingo Song HD for iPads is a great new way to have your children learn while listening to a song that we already know.
The Bingo Song HD app is available for download in the iTunes store for a reasonable price and has several interactive features. Some of the features of the app are:
- Sing along with Karaoke Mode!
- Record your children singing!
- Touch and discover fun surprises in the captivating illustrations.
- Learn about the farm and farm animals with interactive cards
- Original music and colorful illustrations
- Rich animations and activities on all pages
- HD quality graphics and sounds
- Develop fine motor skills
- Fun animations and sounds
The 5 year old on my house loved sitting down and singing along with Bingo. Usually I have a hard time getting him sit down at all, but once he figured out that he could sing and record it, he loved it. He thought that listening to himself sing was the best thing in the world. Bingo HD has become his app of choice during his iPad time.
In addition to the singing of the song, there are other features to the application. There are also cards that teach children about farm animals by asking them questions. This area was a little more difficult for the 5 year old since he has learning disabilities, but he likes to click through and ask me for the answers that he does not know. This is an area that he will need to use more for the repetition to help him learn.
I imagine that there is a pretty limited age group that would enjoy this app but currently my children fit right in the age group and truly enjoy singing and learning (and of course listening to themselves) with Bingo HD.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
