Caramel Matchaccino Anyone?
Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
What is Matchaccino? It’s a special green tea powder mix made to be as easy and convenient to use as possible. 100% Natural. Just grab a table spoon of the mix, add glass of milk, few ice cubes and blend it.
Since I usually pick up a cup of coffee, not tea, I figured this review may be a little difficult. But I found that it was pretty darn easy.
The first cup that I made, I actually had to modify a little bit. I found that it was a little bitter for my taste and that it needed to be watered down a little bit. The next glass of Caramel Matchaccino that I made turned out much better. I had to play with the Caramel Matchaccino mix and the water mix until I found what combination worked best for me.
The natural benefits of green tea are great but knowing that this is a low fat, low calorie alternative is just a bonus. Since I am frugal, this is a great way to get a classic Caramel Matchaccino frappe style drink in your home and avoid paying the coffee shop prices. Each serving of Caramel Matchaccino mix will average about $1 per drink when you figure out how many drinks you can get out of a bag. That is way cheaper that having a coffee shop make one for you.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Brew Over Ice Review
I was recently sent a Brew Over Ice gift pack to test out and review. I am a big coffee and tea drinker, so this was a big bonus for me. I have never used my Keurig to brew cold beverages and with the hot weather, there is no better time to start.
Using a Keurig has always been simple. Now I know that making a cold beverage is just as easy. Just a few modifications to brewing a hot beverage. Just follow the simple steps below.
Pick you Brew Over Ice K-cup
Insert the K-cup into your brewer and close the top of the Keurig
Place large cup full of ice under the brewer
Press brew and you are done!
To clarify, I chose to brew coffee over ice and add a little milk and a spoonful of white chocolate powder. I could not resist trying a white chocolate mocha for my first iced beverage. Yes it was delicious!
This was a great way to make a yummy cold beverage at home. I only ran into one issue. That is that most of the ice melted from the hot coffee brewing over it. I did find that reducing the brew temperature of my Keurig helped a little, but I think a little bigger cup is better if you are going to add anything to the beverage you brew.
Now that I know I can brew iced teas and cold coffee beverages, I am a little delirious. Could it possibly be a little too much caffeine and all of the money I am saving by avoiding over priced coffee shops? Yes!!
If you currently own a Keurig and would like a $2 coupon to try a Brew Over Ice product you can go HERE.
You can also play a game on the Brew Over Ice website for a chance to win $10,000!! Who would not want a chance at free money?

Teas' Tea Review
With summer right around the corner, I am always looking for
a new way to add flavor and variety to my drinks for my friends and family. My
children have always been opposed to drinking water or tea since it does not
"taste good." In other words, they don't like water or tea since it
is not loaded with sugar.
I was recently given an opportunity to try Teas'
Tea Half and Half. I received a peach flavor and a lemon flavor. It
was a quick and easy test for my family. Poor the tea into small cups for
everyone to sample and hide the bottles so they did not know what they were
drinking.
The lemon variety had a light sweet taste that was very
appealing. It was not too sweet, and I could taste the tea and the lemon. The
peach variety was also light and sweet, but was even lighter than the lemon
flavor. My husband liked the lemon flavor the best and everyone else liked the
light flavor of the peach.
Teas' Tea Half & Half is brewed using the finest
green tea leaves and slightly sweetened with only 50 calories per serving.
half&HALF comes in 5 delicious flavors - green tea & lemon, green tea
& green apple (which came in second place at the North American Tea
Championships 2012), green tea & peach, green tea & coconut, green tea
& grape. You can find he Half & Half beverage at specialty grocery stores, select Whole
Foods, Wegmans and online at www.amazon.com and www.teastea.com.
