Comfort and Harmony Mombo Nursing Pillow Review & Giveaway

This review was made possible by Double Duty Divas and Kids II. I was provided the featured product free of charge to facilitate my review, but all opinions are 100% mine.

With a three month old in my house there is always a need for a few extra hands, especially when nursing. When I was given the opportunity to review and giveaway a Mombo Nursing Pillow, I jumped at the chance.

I received the Blush N Bloom design on my pillow. It is solid pink on one side and is white with large flowers on the other side. When the Comfort and Harmony Mombo Nursing Pillow arrived, I was very surprised at some of the features.

First,  the pillow is double sided. There is a firm side and a soft side. The firm side is designed for using when nursing your baby and the soft side is designed for lounging. After several uses, I found that both sides worked for either purpose, but the soft side was clearly easier on the baby for sitting up.

The next feature that I liked was the vibration unit. There is a small vibration unit that takes one size C battery that tucks in a small pocket in between the two layers of material. At first, I thought this was an unusual feature. After putting in a battery and tucking it inside the pillow, I tested it out. It is very easy to turn on and off by pressing in the center of the pillow. Until I put Jaz on the pillow with the vibration on, it was just a feature I figured I would not really use. But when I did turn it on, the laughter started. Jaz started to giggle away. If I shout of the vibration she would stop. This was a big hit with Jaz..... an me. I don' think I have laughed that hard in a long time.

The last feature, the washable slipcover,  I think will be every mothers favorite. I am not aware of many people that did not have a small child that did not spit up or have a diaper accident at all during infancy. Knowing that the slipcover is easily removable and washable is a big plus in any products designed for a baby. There were 2 issues I had with the slipcover. First, there are large tags that are sewn in on the outside of the cover. They are made of a material that if cut off, I know would be itchy and scratchy. This was not a deal breaker, but I would like to see the tags inside the cover so I don't have to see them. The other issue I had was determining which way to put the slipcover on. Again, not a big deal but still a dilemma in my mind. Do I want the solid pink up when Jaz is feeding or sitting down? I know this is a silly issue bI still needed to provide my thoughts.

Over all, I have been very happy with my Comfort and Harmony Mombo Nursing Pillow. It has made breastfeeding easier, is helping Jaz learn to sit, and has definitely created laughter in our home.
